SPOKEN WORD: As a spoken word artist I have performed at events around Ireland and abroad, including Cork Midsummer Festival (Art Gifts), First Fortnight, Electric Picnic among many others.
From 2019-2022, I was the Irish Poetry Slam Champion. I represented Ireland in the European Poetry Slam in Rome 2022 and performed at the 2023 World Poetry Slam Championship in Rio De Janeiro.
A collection of my poetry was published in the chapbook ‘paper incantations’ as part of Ó’Bhéal’s ‘spoken worlds’ series, supported by Cork City Council.
THEATRE: I have a Level 8 BA Honours Degree in Drama from Ireland’s Conservatory of Music and Drama (TU Dublin) and have been involved in many theatre and film projects over the past decade. In 2019, I wrote and performed in the play Wishful Thinking which ran as part of the Dublin Fringe Festival and the Cork Arts Theatre Emerging Artists Programme.
FILM: In 2022, I completed my Masters Degree in Screenwriting for Film and Television in IADT. In 2025, I was selected as a finalist for the Galway Film Fleadh Pitching Competition for my script Clara Murphy loves April From Mars.
THEMES: My work regularly explores eco-anxiety, gender, mental health and mysticism, through the lens of my own lived experiences.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME: From an early age, I’ve found solace in stories featuring bold, rule-breaking female protagonists. In particular, the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer has had a defining influence on my life and storytelling. I’m vegan since 2018 (thank you Okja). I love books (that’s probably obvious), particularly strange/spooky books by female/queer authors. 🌈 I use she/her/they/them pronouns (all of which are fine by me).
